Sky Scanner recommends being extremely precise and booking 8 weeks before your preferred travel time as you could see a saving of 7%.

If you are considering traveling internationally, you should book in October, ideally 21 weeks in advance when you can save about 7% on your flight.

What and When to Pack

One thing you don’t want to do is forget something important at home because you wanted to park. While there is not an optimal packing day that is best for everyone, you should not wait until the last minute.

A tip that Fox News gives is to pack light and smart. By leaving all outfits that you might possibly wear at home, only packing clothes that you are appropriate for your destination, and keeping shoes to a minimum, you can cut down on the amount of bags you take and save on bag fees.

Where to Park

At some point before your trip, you are going to have to travel to the airport. You have to consider driving to the airport and parking or being dropped off. Taking advantage of off-site airport parking and shuttle services is one way to save time trying to find a place to park and money paying the high daily fees.
